The Plaridel Horse Festival, also known as "Pintakasi ng mga Caballero" or Salubong, is held on December 29 and 30 in Plaridel, Bulacan, in honor of St. James the Apostle (Santiago Apostol), the patron saint of cocheros and jockeys. The festival features a colorful parade of equestrians, jockeys, horse-drawn tilburies, and calesas. Devotees and tourists gather to witness dancing horses and the translacion of their patron saint.
