Formerly known as Pabalhas sa Tablas and now celebrated as the Dinagyaw sa Tablas Festival, this annual event occurs every February 11 in Candoni, Negros Occidental. It honors the resilience and hard work of the early pioneers who cleared the dense 'tabla' forests in 1935 to establish the town. The festival emphasizes the Filipino value of 'bayanihan' (communal unity) through colorful street dancing and historical reenactments.
