Province of Marinduque

Marinduque is one of the province in the Philippines situated in the MIMAROPA Region in the island of Luzon. The province of Marinduque is best known for the Moriones Festival, one of the Philippines' most famous Holy Week celebrations. The island province also offers pristine beaches, caves, and mountain landscapes ideal for outdoor adventures. Its rich traditions and peaceful atmosphere have earned it the nickname 'Heart of the Philippines.'

Boac

Boac is the capital and historic center, known for the centuries-old Boac Church, a fortified earthquake-baroque landmark built beginning in 1792. The town is also one of the main places to experience the Moriones Lenten rites, one of the Philippines' most distinctive Holy Week traditions. Heritage streets, the Boac River, and nearby beaches give the town a mix of history and natural scenery.

Buenavista

Buenavista is known for the Malbog Sulfur Spring, a popular natural attraction at the foot of Mount Malindig. The town is also a convenient jump-off point for the Tres Reyes Islands, known for beaches, snorkeling, and clear coastal waters. Gasan

Gasan is known for Gasan Church, a historic landmark overlooking the town, and for the traditional kalutang, a pair of wooden percussion instruments strongly associated with local culture. Mogpog

Mogpog is widely regarded as the birthplace of the Moriones tradition, one of the Philippines' best-known Holy Week celebrations featuring the distinctive Morion masks. The town is also associated with the Luzon Datum of 1911, the historic geodetic reference point used as the basis for Philippine surveying and mapping. Its landscape includes rolling hills, farmland, and coastal areas.

Santa Cruz

Santa Cruz is known as the gateway to Maniwaya Island, a popular beach destination famous for white sand, clear water, and island-hopping trips. The town also has Ungab Rock Formation and several coastal attractions around the surrounding islands. Its large rural area includes beaches, coconut farms, hills, and fishing communities.

Torrijos

Torrijos is best known for Poctoy White Beach, one of the island's most popular beaches with white sand and clear, swimmable waters.
